Lime Medical, located in New York City, makes intuitive software tools for physicians. We focus on software that help improve patient care and safety, physician productivity and financial returns for practices and hospitals.
We are part of the Lime Group of companies which is an umbrella organization running several small innovative companies. Capitalizing on new technologies, we combine fresh business ideas with the technical expertise to make them succeed, while maintaining a work atmosphere both casual and result-driven.
The Lime Group operates businesses in finance and software, which seek to apply technological innovations to become leaders in their fields.
Richard Kim, M.D.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Dr. Kim is a board-certified Pulmonary Critical Care specialist who has been in private practice at a multi-specialty group for several years. A full-time practicing physician, Rich’s say is instrumental in decisions about which products Lime Medical builds and he has final authority over their design and functioning. Rich’s practice includes telemedicine and electronic ICU coverage.
Mark Gorton
President and Co-Founder
Mark Gorton has spent the past decade building a series of innovative financial and technology companies.
He is the founder of Tower Research Capital LLC, a money management firm specializing in quantitative trading and investment strategies, as well as the founder of Lime Brokerage LLC, Lime Wire LLC, and Lime Labs LLC.
Prior to starting these businesses, Mark worked as an engineer at Martin Marietta, now part of Lockheed Martin, and subsequently as a proprietary trader in the Fixed Income group at Credit Suisse First Boston. Mark holds a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Yale University, a Master’s in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from Harvard University.
Sunil Sreenivasan
Chief Technology Officer
Sunil Sreenivasan runs Lime Medical’s technology team and is responsible for the company’s software development and technical product support.
Prior to joining Lime Medical, Sunil led the development of a digital speech recognition product for physicians in private practice. He has 20 years of experience in software design and development. He led development teams at IBM and Sun building systems management products and solutions for servers and desktop computers. Sunil has worked on several efforts to build innovative mobile and handheld computing devices. He has five software patents issued or pending.
Steve Finkelstein
Director of Software and Operations
Steve Finkelstein directs the day-to-day programming projects that form the backbone of Lime Medical’s product development and support. Before joining the company he developed website applications underpinning critical systems at About.com and Community Connect. He has one software patent pending.
