The Lime Medical team is made up of experienced physicians and business professionals working together to build simple, affordable products that help doctors do their jobs better. Our aim is to offer you customizable tools that mimic how you work without adding complexity.
Richard T. Kim, M.D.
Chief Executive Officer and Co-Founder
Dr. Kim is a board-certified Pulmonary and Critical Care specialist who has been in private practice for the past six years. A full-time practicing physician, Rich’s say is instrumental in decisions about which products Lime Medical builds and he has final authority over their design and functioning.
Rich attended Yale University as an undergraduate, earning his medical degree at Albert Einstein Medical College. He completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at New York University Medical Center, where he subsequently completed a Fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine and Critical Care Medicine.
Rich practices in a multi-specialty group in Sacramento, California, where he is affiliated with Sutter Medical Center. His practice includes telemedicine and electronic ICU coverage.
Mark Gorton
President and Co-Founder
Mark Gorton is the founder of several financial and technological companies collectively known as the Lime Group, whose resources stand behind Lime Medical. Other Lime Group companies include Tower Research Capital, Lime Brokerage, Lime Wire and The Open Planning Project.
Prior to starting these businesses, Mark worked as an engineer at Martin Marietta, now part of Lockheed Martin, and subsequently as a proprietary trader in the Fixed Income group at Credit Suisse First Boston. He earned an MBA from Harvard Business School, a M.S.E.E. from Stanford University and a B.S. magna cum laude from Yale University.
John Bader
Chief Operating Officer
John Bader manages Lime Medical’s day-to-day operations and is responsible for the company’s business and partnership development.
Prior to joining Lime Medical, John led business development at Xoova, establishing it as a market leader in online physician search alongside Google and WebMD. John also spent three years developing market strategy for Alfa Wassermann, the leading maker of clinical chemistry analyzers for small practices. He was a founder of IntelliSpace, a $25 million telecommunications company, building its business operations from scratch in New York and London.
John began his career as a journalist covering healthcare and subsequently international markets for The Wall Street Journal. He holds an MBA from Columbia University.
Sunil Sreenivasan
Chief Technology Officer
Sunil Sreenivasan runs Lime Medical’s technology team and is responsible for the company’s software development and technical product support.
Prior to joining Lime Medical, Sunil led the development of a digital speech recognition product for physicians in private practice. He has 20 years of experience in software design and development. He led development teams at IBM and Sun building systems management products and solutions for servers and desktop computers. Sunil has worked on several efforts to build innovative mobile and handheld computing devices. He has five software patents issued or pending.
Sunil earned a Masters in Computer Science at the University of Houston and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Puja Sharma, M.D.
Director of Clinical Content
Dr. Sharma directs the development of the clinical content that appears in Lime Medical’s products. Before attending medical school, Puja worked as a software engineer at Johnson & Johnson Health Care Systems, where she helped develop a patient compliance database and physician alert system. She has planned and implemented practice conversions to paperless charts.
Puja graduated from the AUC School of Medicine. She earned her certification in software engineering at Columbia University.
Steve Finkelstein
Senior Engineer
Steve Finkelstein directs the day-to-day programming projects that form the backbone of Lime Medical’s product development and support. Before joining the company he developed website applications underpinning critical systems at About.com and Community Connect. He has one software patent pending.
Michael Lenderman
Senior Web Developer
Michael Lenderman guides the development of the website functions that power Lime Medical’s products. Prior to joining Lime Medical, Michael developed and managed critical systems supporting the operation of commercial websites selling consumer products.
